Can You Make A Secure Online Shop For Me?

Yes I can! I use Actinic Ecommerce software to build online shops. Actinic is nice and easy to use for both web site designers and shop owners. You would have to invest in some software to be able to download your orders and have a method of processing your customers payment. How Much Will All This Cost Me?

Ah well that depends! If you want a carlos fandango shopping cart site with flash animations selling 1000 items it will cost a tad more than a three page 'here we are' site. There are other costs to consider such as:

• Domain name registration- if you want it (e.g. if you company is called jobloggs and you sell pens you could register the domain name jobloggspens.co.uk). This makes it easier for your customers to find you.
• Hosting space - you may already have space with your existing internet account or you may have to purchase some.
• Search engine submission- telling the likes of Google Lycos & Yahoo where you are on the web so people can find you. Some search engines are free to submit to others charge. You can also pay for a service that submits your pages to multiple search engines at the same time including specialist trade ones.

Because no two businesses are the same each web site is quoted on its own requirements.
